What is a robot development platform?

How does the autonomous navigation system work?

Usually, all our robots are equipped with an autonomous navigation system which is based on a mission planner software used to generate missions and tasks that can be sent to the robot to be executed. The autonomous navigation software can be used both on robot with rubber tracks and on electric tracked vehicles as well as on robots with wheels.

What is the main difference between a skid-steering robot with rubber tracks and a differential wheeled robot?

A skid-steering robot with rubber tracks has a less ground pressure than a differential wheeled robot, even if the rubber tracks robot moves slower than the wheeled solution and needs more energy compared to the overall motor power demanded by wheeled platform.

Do you support ROS (Robot Operating System)?

Obviously, all our robots and vehicles support ROS and they come with ROS nodes that can be used to control the motors by sending cmd_vel messages.

Are your system based on batteries or gasoline?

All our robotic platforms, skid-steering robot and wheeled robot can be powered by AGM batteries to achieve a fully electric solution or by gasoline engines if the application requires high power and long autonomy.

Do you have solutions for an autonomous robot for agriculture?
