Veicolo a quattro ruote sterzanti e quattro ruote motrici con sistema di sospensione

4WD eXplorer è un robot veicolo di tipo ackermann olonomico con quattro ruote sterzanti e quattro ruote motrici con un sistema di sospensioni in grado di stabilizzare il telaio anche su terreni sconnessi.  Il veicolo robotizzato può essere impiegato come robot per l’agricoltura o per applicazioni industriali e per velocizzare le attività di ricerca. Di solito, eXplorer è configurato con un sensore laser da 360°, telecamera RGB-D, encoders, sensori di corrente e GPS RTK con un’alta precisione. Grazie alle sue ruote in gomma con camera d’aria, può essere usato sia per applicazioni indoor che outdoor e il suo carico massimo accettabile consente all’utente di aggiungere dispositivi e laptop. In più, fornisce una serie di output di potente per poter collegare componenti da 12V e 24V e la sua altezza da terra gli permette di superare ostacoli come pietre e detriti. L’alta distanza da terra e il sistema di sospensioni consentono al veicolo di superare facilmente ostacoli e detriti presenti a terra.

4WD eXplorer si muove su tutti i terreni!

Il veicolo può essere usato per esplorare tipi di terreno diversi dato che è equipaggiato con due bracci che oscillano attorno ad un asse centrale per implementare un sistema di sospensioni di tipo rocker-style. Entrambi i bracci oscillanti hanno un’alta escursione per permettere la veicolo di superare grandi rocce e detriti.

Gli pneumatici da dieci pollici con camera d’aria offrono eccellenti prestazioni sia outdoor che indoor in qualsiasi applicazione come quelle per l’agricoltura. La loro pressione può essere variata in base al profilo del terreno per raggiungere il grip ideale in ogni condizione.

4WD eXplorer dispone di un nodo ROS molto documentato che consente all’utente di controllare il robot da remoto e di integrare facilmente sensori, dispositivi e attuatori. Il veicolo integra un sistema di sospensioni di tipo rocket-style basato su due bracci oscillanti in grado di ruotare attorno ad un asse centrale ancorato a dei damper per vincolarne il movimento. 4WD eXplorer  non ha paura del buio! Grazie ai potenti fari a LED da 20W con 1580lm montati sia sul parafango anteriore che su quello posteriore, si può affrontare la notte senza problemi! Il veicolo è ideale per applicazioni di sorveglianza o per ispezionare posti con scarsa luminosità o in ambienti ostici in quando i fari sono realizzati con tecnologia IP67.
